A few minutes car drive and you are on the wonderful beach of Manta Rota or Praia Barril. Wild spaces, beautiful and warm sea, kilometers of clear sand. 

At the arrival there is a very good restaurant that creates modern Portuguese cuisine: Cha Com Agua Salgada, with a beautiful view towards the beach. 

You can also stop at a little caban on the beach to have a good mojito at sunset. 

And if you like walking, you have a 40 minutes walk on the beach towards Casela Velha and a lot of fishermen come along to catch fishes or shells.
